COLLEGE LOGO:

The Olive seedling symbolizes posterity. The Olive plant stands for peace, wisdom and success.

The Dark coloured leaves on the olive seedling is made in a shape of 75 representing Platinum Jubilee.

The hand gestures signify lifting and guiding the young upward. The different coloured hands i.e. Yellow signifies positivity, honour and intellect. Red signifies Sacrifies, Leadership and Courage. Blue signifies Inspiration, Knowledge and Stability. Three hands with different colours symbolizes different sections of people working together as one.

The College

Platinum College is the first and only college under Niuland District, established to cater to the need of the young minds aspiring for quality education.

It is located at Nihokhu village, 22 km from 4th Mile Dimapur, in a scenic location, peaceful and ideal for academic pursuits.

The college campus was established on the 10th of April 2021.

The institutions is residential in nature with sufficient hostel facilities for both girls and boys. It is a secular and co-educational institution offering Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in the Four Years Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP).

The college covers an area of about 68 acres, surrounded by lash green nature an forested canopy. The college is equipped with modern infrastructures and studentcentric facilities to provide holistic growth. The college has a highly qualified and dedicated faculty to guide and fulfill the vision and mission of the college. The college as an institution is committed to give the best resources available to teach and guide the learners.

The college is affiliated (provisionally) to Nagaland University.

BOARD OF GOVERNORS (BOG):

            The college is sponsored by a non-profit registered society- Western Sumi Community Development Project (WSCDP), the development wing of Western Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (WSBAK). The society has constituted the Board of Governors comprising 13 members. The Board is empowered to carry out the plans and policies of the college.
